Work Experience by Josiah Lucas

on Thursday, 07 July 2016.

My first week at work experience with Zinfra ZNX was with the overhead crew, this means that I was working with linesmen who work on overhead electrical cables and power lines. We replaced power poles and faulty cables. Some of the things that I got to do were dressing a crossbar, going up in the bucket, measuring height limits and helping out around the job site. The second week I worked with the underground crew, the underground crew work on the electrical cables that are underground. We replaced pole lines with subs and I got to help dig up street lights and fix the faulty street lights. Overall I enjoyed my work experience.
