Limitless Leadership Camp

on Friday, 16 September 2016.

Over the upcoming school holidays the above students Ruby Sommerville, Lachlan Mozina, Jacob Langborne and Jai Dawson-Nguyen will be attending The Limitless Leadership Camp in West Gippsland, Victoria.

The camp is aimed at young people who have a spark (however small) that if nurtured could ignite into a whole new empowering vision for their life.

A team of coaches will take the students on an epic journey through a series of mind blowing activities and interactive workshops, led by a motivational speaker and student engagement specialist.

They will spend time with an awesome crew of young people, get motivated in ways they never thought possible and be inspired to discover their passions, talents and tangible ways to live into their own greatness!

Sounds like an amazing time is waiting to to be had and we only wish we could be joining them.

Up, up and away!

Our Garden is Amazing!

on Thursday, 08 September 2016.

Today was the grand opening of our Memorial Garden that has been so beautifully constructed by the VCAL Students. The garden is in memory of those staff and students who are no longer with us and are forever in our hearts.

The VCAL students in the program have completed the design and landscaping of the garden over 2 terms. As a group the decisions were made about the type of garden that should be created and consultation on where the garden should be placed was undertaken with Ms Lasslett.

They have learnt a lot about working in a group and the challenges that are faced when undertaking a large project such as this. They should be very proud of themselves as we are.

The garden was officially opened by Ms Danielle Green, State Labor MP. We look forward to the final planting being done and the garden being enjoyed by all.

Year 10 Camp, Update 4

on Thursday, 15 September 2016.

Final day of Year 10 school camp was a quick trip to Sea World. A day of hanging out with aquatic animals was enjoyable from start to "fin"ish and certainly earned a "seal" of approval. We even managed to grab a few (manta) rays of sunshine! We now begin our long trip home to Wallan; let's hope we "sea" some good scenery on the trip!

Year 10 Camp, Update 2
