Sustainable School Shop

on Tuesday, 08 November 2016.

Dear Parents

Second-hand Uniform and Textbook Trading

The college is conscious of the need to provide an improved facility for families to be able to buy and sell their secondhand uniforms, textbooks and other student resources.

I am delighted to inform you of the school's new initiative in providing family's access to the Sustainable School Shop website.

The service is weighted towards trading within our own school community and then access to a wider market of other nearby schools should you need. Results from other schools have been excellent; families have enjoyed a more comprehensive and convenient method of buying and selling these items.

Donations Wanted

on Monday, 07 November 2016.

Our Welfare Officer, Robyn Snedden, provides many services to the Colllege including offering support and counselling to staff and students, facilitating external services to providing healthy food options at our Breakfast Club and Homework Club.

Whilst the College receives generous donations of food from First Bite, our Breakfast and Homework Clubs are run almost entirely on the donations of food and time by our Administration staff.

To assist Robyn in funding our Breakfast and Homework Club, we are calling on all our College Parents and students to ask for your help. We are asking that you hunt through your cupboards for any uniforms/school bags that no longer fit or are no longer needed and are in a good condition.

The College will be hoping to onsell these items and all proceeds will go towards supporting our Breakfast and Homework Club.

All donations can be dropped into the Administration Office.
