Progress made in Term 3

Knit for Charity is off to a fantastic start in Term 3, with great progress being made by our students and staff, some of whom have picked up the skill for the very first time. They are well on their way to completing their very first knitted square. We have also been blown away by the generous donations of both wool and finished squares from the Colleges' students, parents, staff and the wider community.

Subject 'Trade Show'

on Monday, 05 August 2013. Posted in Curriculum

Last week's Subject "Trade Show" was attended by all students in Years 7 to 11.

Teachers representing all the different Learning Areas were available throughout the day to respond to students' queries and give advice.

Our students took the opportunity to find out about electives, VCE studies, VET courses and VCAL.

They engaged extremely well with the subject displays and the feedback we received was very positive.

Next year we plan to improve the Subject Trade Show even further by scheduling it to occur over the day and evening in which the Course Selection night is held.
