For What It's Worth Young Men...

This offering is from Mr Brian Howley on the occassion of the Young Men's Breakfast, 2013.

For what it's worth young men...

Be yourself always
Don't follow the herd because cliffs are never far away
Especially on dark nights.
Show respect to everyone, it will reward you
Karmically.
Avoid violence; it hurts in more ways than one.
Treat your loved ones, families, and girls, and partners
With love; and appreciation.
It's not too much to ask.
Don't neglect your mates. Stay in touch. In 30 years you will be glad you did.
Tell your parents you love them. Tell everyone you love, you love them.
Drink in good company.
Eat everything and savour every mouthful. Chew slowly.
Chase your dreams. You will be surprised how fast you are.
Be kind and forgiving to yourself and to others.

For what it's worth young men
Make good choices
And reap the rewards.
And it's ok to be wrong at times. Always admit it.
Honesty is good for the soul.
