On Friday 6th September, we organised a crazy hair and lipstick day for the students of Wallan Secondary College, in support of Liptember.
Some students arrived at school with colourful and crazy hairstyles or wearing bright lipstick.
Liptember aims to raise awareness of women's health, for example: anxiety, depression, post-natal depression, menopausal changes, dementia and self-image. More information about these issues can be found at www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au or www.liptember.com.au.
We had fun at lunchtime spraying the hair of students and staff with temporary hair colour spray.
We would to thank Ms Lasslett, Ashtyn K. and the team of students who made the day possible and the students and staff who donated money to this cause.
