Event to mark the 5th anniversary

5th Anniversary of Black Saturday

The Victorian Government is holding a central remembrance event on Sunday 9th February 2014, commencing at 2PM and concluding at 4PM at the Melbourne Museum, to mark the fifth anniversary of the 2009 Victorian bushfires.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by 3rd of February 2014. The event will feature photo displays, music by bushfire-affected communities and activities for children.

On the day for travel, parking should be available at the weekend rate down there and standard public transport including tram service from Parliament Station.

On behalf of the Wellbeing Team I would like to acknowledge the many families who have been affected by these bushfires and other significant events. Please remember support is available, and Gillian and Adrian (Telephone at school on 5783 4335) are able to link in with support and recovery services if would like them.
