School Sores

Please be aware that we have had reported cases of School Sores. Impetigo, or School Sores, is a highly contagious skin infection caused by the bacteria, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus. The infection is characterised by inflamed blisters that pop, weep and form crusts. 

It is highly contagious and a child with Impetigo should be kept home from school until appropriate treatment has begun.
