Seth Franco was the first caucasian Harlem Globetrotter since 1942!
He grew up in New York, with the dream of becoming a professional basketball player. Seth finally lived his dream but not without several set-backs along the way.
Seth suffered from hip dysplasia which threatened to destroy his dreams, but he overcame this setback and was chosen for the lead role in a movie about basketball. This led to him eventually playing with the Harlem Globetrotters and touring the US with them. Seth was also selected as their spokeperson for the character education program.
The pain in his leg finally brought an end to his playing career but Seth now tours the world, inspiring young people to live their own dreams and never give up.
