Saturday, 29th December, WSC held its first Family Fun Day and what a day it was! The day was an incredible success for the school and benefit of the wider school community.
Much needed funds were raised for use on grounds improvements and the purchase of school resources.
Highlights of the day included the ceremonial dunking of School Principal, Sally Lasslett, whom along with several of our Teachers offered their services at the Dunking Machine.
The side show rides, fire engine, train ride, animal farm and camels proved very popular with the kids. While the yummy cakes, coffee and Devonshire tea were a hit with Parents looking to escape.
Our students travelling to Cambodia, to participate in our humanitarian project, also held a sausage sizzle, to raise funds. Make sure you check out our pictures of the day. http://www.wallansc.vic.edu.au/index.php/wallan-life/gallery/2014-family-fun-day
We couldn't have done it without the enthusiastic support of our Staff, Parents, Students, College Council, Business Owners and the wider Wallan community. We are indeed grateful to everyone whom contributed to make the day unforgettable.
