On Monday 25th November we held a very successful Information Evening for our 2014 Year 7 students and their families.
Welcomed by our College Principal, Ms Wendy Caramarco, and Assistant Principal Ms Sally Lasslett, an hour was spent welcoming our future students to our College and providing them with valuable information for 2014.
A journey was presented by two of our current Year 7 students, Marnie and Alex, who shared their experiences and thoughts of their first year at Secondary School.
Our 2014 Year 7 Coordinator, Mr Luke Ellis, was introduced with our Transition Coordinator/Home Group Teacher, Ms Rachel Barnes and Year 7 Home Group teachers for 2014, Ms Lauren Gates, Ms Christine Ellis and Mr Brad Hosking.
Ms Myra Hardy, our Leading Teacher for Curriculum, presented information regarding the Curriculum for 2014, Mr Brian Howley spoke in his role as Careers and Pathways Manager. The College ICT Department was represented by Mr Lionel Camilleri, IT Manager, demonstrating and answering many questions regarding our Student Netbook Program which will be operating once again in 2014.
Ms Casey Cesarin, Leading Teacher for Data, Assessment and Reporting was also available along with Mr Adrian Hempfing our Wellbeing Officer, Ms Carol McLean Administration Office / Bursar and a representative from the Mitchell Shire to talk about our 2014 Immunisation Program.
