Year 12 examinations will take place from 19/9 – 21/9 which is during the first week of holidays. These examinations are a great opportunity for students to ascertain what their strengths and areas for improvement are in the lead up to their final exams.

On Thursday 02.06.22 our entire cohort were treated to a presentation by Scott Darlow as part of Reconciliation Week. Scott is a 'First Nations' person and has toured nationally, headlining his own shows and also supporting Jimmy Barnes, Diesel, Jon Stevens, Eskimo Joe and many more.
This time it was Wallan Secondary students experiencing all things trades with a visit to the CFMEU training and education centre in Port Melbourne.
As part of Positive Week, the student leadership team decided to explore different foods from around the world.
We are fortunate to have the Doctors in Secondary Schools program starting at Wallan Secondary College. The doctor will visit once a fortnight (Thursday) commencing on 16th June, 2022.

On Wednesday our Year 9 students took park in a Career Expo at the College. The purpose of this event was for students to meet with potential employers with the hope to make contact for work experience, apprenticeships and part-time work.

Last Week our Hospitality Students went to William Angliss to complete a certificated coffee course. They also went on a tour of the establishment and saw the patisserie and bakery kitchens and the aviation wing.
