This morning our College Captains; Coen Triffett, Ruby Sommerville, Lachlan Mozina and Riley Cook were up early to catch their flight to the USA to attend the 2019 Global Young Leaders Conference.

Our 2019 Work Eexperience Program for our Year 10's is well underway. We would like to thank all those businesses who have assisted by taking on a new employee for the two week period. The benefit our students receive from participating in this program is phenomenal..
Today, as part of Positive Week our Staff and Students Teamed up and took part in a Mandarin Eating Competition.With Positive Week being used to connect back to our College Values and Community, Students were encouraged to approach Staff and ask them to be their Teammate.
As part of our School Wide Positive Behaviour program being introduced at the College our activities for Positive Week have been based around our College Values and our Community.On Thursday the College Student Leadership Team have organised a casual clothes fundraising event - Do It For Dolly!
The College was very excited when we received an email from Donna Marc of Hontondo Homes which said, " What a wonderful honour and experience for these guys." We love hearing that the Community also recognises the hard work of our students and the benefit that comes from such experiences.

Thank you to the Parents and Yr 4, 5, 6 Students who came to the Discovery Evening held at WSC last night. It was a great way for the College to showcase it's facilities, programs and most importantly it's Staff.

Our Captains have been very busy with numerous sausage sizzles, raffles, cake stalls and chocolate drives as they fund-raise to reach the 2019 GYLC. Never ones to back away from a challenge they have taken up an offer from Nexus Primary Health, to weed their premises in exchange for a donation.

Today our Year 12's headed off for a 2 day retreat at Alexander Adventure Resort.They will undertake team building, discussion groups and self reflection whilst having a good time in the process.We know they are going to a great time.
