The Victorian Government has announced new arrangements for schools in Victoria from and including Wednesday 28 July 2021. Based on advice from the Victorian Chief Health Officer, schools in Victoria will return to face-to-face learning and teaching for all students from this date.
During Semester One, with rolling lockdowns, the decision was made for the mental health and wellbeing of our Year Eleven and Twelve students, to postpone examinations.
Due to the most recent lockdown in Victoria, we have had to postpone our performances of Matilda Jnr. at Wallan Secondary College. The new show dates are: 16th of September, 2021 (7:30pm) 17th of September, 2021 (7:30pm) 18th of September, 2021 (7:30pm)
A thought provoking, confronting and informative road safety program with advice on a wide range of topics for young drivers. The program is aimed at young drivers but is also an opportunity for parents to take their children who are not far off obtaining their probationary car licence.

Winter has hit and with that in mind WSC are very proud to be joining in the initiative of Heat The Homeless campaign. Over the last five years the campaign has collected over 20,000 warm winter jackets for our friends on the streets and this will continue this year. But we need your help!

A reminder that as per our College Calendar, there is a Professional Learning Day for staff scheduled on Friday 11th June 2021. Students are not required at the College on this day.

Wallan Secondary has partnered with Wonder Bread to turn bread bags into sports equipment! In Australia, approximately 66% of plastics are recycled but only 18% actually get recycled.
