Nursing Boot Camp
Box Hill Institute is hosting a free immersive on campus “Nursing Boot Camp”, where students will experience what it is like in the day of the life of an Enrolled Nurse. This will be a great opportunity for students to have some hands on learning and give them more insight into a career in nursing.
Your student’s will:
Learn to perform CPR
Understand the significance of hygiene and self-protection in the workspace
Acquire the knowledge to take a blood pressure reading
Identify the personality traits suited for a nursing career
Explore the potential career paths for Enrolled Nurses

10am – 3.30pmThursday 21 September – Box Hill campus (Elgar)Friday 22 September – Lilydale campus
Dress is casual and comfortable, with closed toe shoes e.g. runners
