On Monday 21st August and Tuesday 22nd of August, Year 9 and 10 students respectively were lucky enough to participate in the Courage to Care Program.
The program, built around the idea of turning bystanders into upstanders when confronted with prejudice, racism, sexism and bullying.
Including a presentation from a Holocaust survivor, and small group workshops, students explored the idea that without upstanders willing to stand-up, issues ranging from bullying to genocide can be enabled.
Students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to speak to a Holocaust survivor and work in small groups with facilitators, who the college would like to thank for their incredible presentations.
