Explosion Colour Fun Run

On Friday, WSC held our Explosion Colour Fun Run to raise money for Dolly's Dream as part of 'Do It For Dolly Day!'

Dolly’s Dream was created by Kate and Tick Everett following the shattering loss of their 14-year-old daughter, Dolly, to suicide, after ongoing bullying. Kate and Tick’s goal is to prevent other families walking this road. They want to change the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families.

Our students and staff had a fantastic afternoon, getting covered in coloured powder from head to toe, whilst also choosing to say no to bullying and cyber bullying at school.

Just as important as needing to be kind to each other and learning to speak up for those that can't, our students raised $2830 for Dolly's Dream!!

A fabulous effort! Well done WSC! 😎🥳

Special mention to Taylah Collett, Danika Ward, Thomas Tibbey, Isabella Burr and Tayana Marstaellar who were our top fun raisers! 🤩
