1st year Cert II in Agriculture
Maddison is a Year 10 Wallan SC student and as part of her senior studies is enrolled in VET in schools 1st year Cert II in Agriculture, attending classes at Melbourne Polytechnic Yan Yean Campus.
Part of the coursework includes handling sheep and cattle and Maddy has been invited to participate in the School and College Paraders’ Competition at the Melbourne Show – Sunday 25th September – along with her class mates at Melbourne Polytechnic
Her day will start at 5am in the barn at the showgrounds, to prepare the cattle for show, judging will commence from 8am through till 1pm and pack up for departure will be between 6pm and 8:30pm – it’s sure to be an amazing day!
So if you are planning to go to the Show, be sure to make time to see this event, Carcass Judging and Handlers/Paraders’ Judging in the Livestock Pavilion and look for the students from Melbourne Polytechnic, say "Hello to Maddy".
