Information for the Remainder of Term 4
With the conclusion of our Step-Up Program, the last day of school for 2022, for Years 10 and 11, was Friday 2nd December. This in accordance with the Victorian Government Education Department's policy for Term 4 dismissal arrangements.
For the remainder of our students in years 7, 8 and 9 scheduled activities will continue until Thursday 8th December, with our Big Day Out being held on Friday 9th December and The Amazing Race on Monday 12th December 2022.
We understand that for many of our families, this past year has been stressful as we attempt to return to normality since COVID. For this reason, with several families indicating they will be commencing holidays earlier, we will not be holding formal classes after The Amazing Race. Instead, students who attend will be participating in environmental clean-up and other non-curricular activities.
The Year 8 Camp is being held Tuesday 13th December until Thursday 15th December.
Please remind your student to take all items from their locker home with them on Thursday 8th December 2022. Any items left behind after this date will be donated or discarded and the College will not accept any responsibility for items not collected.
Students wishing to sell or buy second-hand text books and uniforms should visit https://www.sustainableschoolshop.com.au/
Students wishing to donate text books/novels or uniforms can take them to the Wellbeing Hub.
The college canteen will also close as of 14th December for the remainder of the year. Please ensure if your student is attending, they bring recess and lunch with them. Students are not permitted to leave the grounds to access shops etc during the school day. If students do not have lunch, Parents/Carers will be contacted to supply, please note we do not permit fast food such as McDonalds/KFC as an option for lunch.
