Cert III in Electrotechnology

Christopher Isbel is a Year 11 student at Wallan Secondary College who has commenced a School-Based Apprenticeship/Traineeship (SBAT) in Electrotechnology with Tempest Electric Solutions who are based in Kilmore.

 

Before beginning his SBAT, Christopher successfully completed work placement with his employer which provided valuable hands-on experience that helped prepare him for this next step. Mitch Anderson of Tempest Electric Solutions is a strong supporter of the school-based apprenticeship program. Mitch has previously mentored a school-based apprentice who is now employed full-time in his second year of apprenticeship which demonstrates the opportunities and pathways available through the program.

Christopher will work one day per week with Tempest Electric Solutions and attend Kangan Institute as part of his trade school requirements one day per week.
