Remembrance Day Service 2025

Today, our school community gathered to pause, reflect, and remember. On this day, the 11th of November, we honour the men and women who have served, and those who continue to serve, in times of war, conflict, and peacekeeping.

At the eleventh hour, of the eleventh day, of the eleventh month, the guns of the First World War fell silent. Since then, this moment has stood as a powerful symbol of respect and gratitude, a time to remember the courage, sacrifice, and hope of all who gave so much for the freedoms we enjoy today.
Our College Captain, Naomi, beautifully conducted the service and spoke with heartfelt sincerity, reminding us why it’s so important to never forget.
We remember not to glorify war, but to recognise its cost, the lives lost, the families changed forever, and the lessons that remind us of the value of peace.
As we took a moment of silence today, we were reminded that freedom, kindness, and peace are responsibilities we all share.
Lest we forget. ?
During the service, a wreath was laid at the College in remembrance of all who have served and especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.
A sincere thank you to our staff and students for the respect and reflection shown throughout today’s service.
