Congratulations Naomi!!

We are delighted to share some outstanding news with our college community.

 

Each year, the Australian Government’s Civics and Citizenship Education program hosts the National Schools Constitutional Convention, a prestigious national event that brings together 120 senior students from government and non-government schools across Australia. Now in its 31st year, the Convention provides an incredible opportunity for Year 11 and 12 students to explore the Australian Constitution, deepen their understanding of how our government functions, and engage in high-level debate about key democratic processes.

We are thrilled to announce that our 2025 College Captain, Naomi Riak, has been selected to attend the 31st National Schools Constitutional Convention, to be held in Canberra in March 2026.

This is an exceptional achievement. Naomi will join senior students from across the country to discuss constitutional issues, participate in workshops, debate ideas, and share her voice on matters that shape our democracy.
