Noah Podesta, a Year 11 student at Wallan Secondary College wanted to commence a career in the plumbing industry.
Seeking to experience some industry work placement he contacted Ryan Keyes a local plumber who Noah plays basketball with each week. Noah completed a week’s work experience with Ryan, and he was so impressed with his attitude and potential during the work placement, he agreed to support Noah in his wish to transition into a formal school-based plumbing apprenticeship.
As part of this school-based apprenticeship, Noah will work two days per week while continuing his trade school training through RMIT, fulfilling the educational requirements of his apprenticeship. This pathway allows Noah to gain valuable industry experience while completing his secondary education.
Congratulations Noah and good luck.
