Danella is a Commbank Junior Matilda!

Congratulations to Year 11 student; Danella Butrus, who has been selected as a player for the Commbank Junior Matildas National U17 Football Team for the AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup Indonesia 2024.

 

Danella has travelled to Cairns with the team to acclimatise before travelling to Bali and will be in camp for the next month.

The U17 Women's National Team begins their Group B campaign against China PR on Tuesday 7th May at Bali United Training Center. They then take on the defending champions Japan on Friday 10th May at Kapten Wayan Dipta Stadium before meeting Thailand on Monday 13th May.

This is very exciting for Danella, and our staff and students wish her the very best and will be cheering her on!
