Year 6 to 7 Transition

Year 7 Transition Program

The move from primary school to secondary school is an exciting milestone in every student’s educational journey. Our Year 7 Transition Program is designed to support students and families well before the first day of school, ensuring a confident and positive start to secondary education.

We are committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where every student feels known, valued and prepared. Through a range of carefully planned activities, students can become familiar with their new surroundings, meet teachers and peers, and develop the skills and confidence needed for success in Year 7.

Below are the key transition activities that take place before your child commences at Wallan Secondary College.
