Introducing Mr. Idle

I’m Mr Idle, a Humanities and Spanish teacher, currently finishing up my Master of Teaching at La Trobe university. I began my journey in education teaching English in a rural town in southern Spain after almost eight years working in the hospitality industry.

I love history, politics, sociology and anything to do with people.

Positive relationships with students, staff and their families is central to my teaching practice. I want my classroom to be a place where students feel they belong. 

When I’m not teaching, I love playing soccer (I play on the right wing), cycling around the city and screen-printing clothes.
