We are incredibly proud to celebrate Allanah Collett (Year 9) and her outstanding achievements in karate!

Allanah trains at GKR Karate through Wallan Dojo and, in just 2.5 years of training, has become a 2-time State Champion, National Champion and World Champion — an extraordinary accomplishment.
In 2024, Allanah represented Australia at the GKR Karate World Cup, winning 1st place in kumite and 2nd place in kata. She has now been selected to once again represent Australia at the 2026 GKR Karate World Cup in the UK this July, where she will compete to defend her world title.
Karate has helped shape Allanah into the determined, disciplined and confident young person we know at WSC and we are incredibly proud of Allanah and her remarkable accomplishments.
The costs of international travel, accommodation, tournament fees and an adult chaperone are significant, so to help Allanah reach her dream of competing on the world stage again, the College is also contributing to her fundraising goal.
If you would like to support her journey, contributions, big or small, can be made at the link below.
We wish Allanah every success as she prepares to represent Australia once more — what an inspiring achievement!
