What a fantastic way to wrap up Harmony Week at our school!

Throughout the week, our students have been actively celebrating diversity, inclusion, and respect for all cultures. Activities included painting flags and hands to represent different backgrounds, a fun and engaging trivia competition, and small games that brought everyone together.

 

One of the highlights was our “Hello” initiative, where students were rewarded with a lamington for greeting others in different languages, such a simple yet powerful way to recognise and celebrate our multicultural community!

Today’s celebrations concluded with vibrant cultural dances performed by our students, showcasing the richness of traditions within our school. It was wonderful to see both students and staff dressed in cultural attire and wearing orange in recognition of Harmony Day.

Classroom sessions were also held throughout the week to help students better understand the importance of diversity, inclusion, and acceptance.

We are proud to be a community that celebrates everyone’s unique background and works together to create a sense of belonging for all.
