Zac Genetzakis
Zac Genetzakis is a Year 10 student at WSC who has commenced a school-based heavy vehicle apprenticeship with Equipment Repairs & Service (EQRS). The business is operated by John Genetzakis, who has spent his working life involved in all aspects of the truck repair and maintenance industry.
Through John’s extensive experience in the industry, Zac has grown up familiar with the heavy vehicle workshop environment and developed a strong interest in the trade. Zac is enthusiastic and motivated to begin his school-based apprenticeship, where he will continue developing his skills, knowledge, and industry experience.
As part of the apprenticeship, Zac will work one day per week during the school year, transitioning to two days per week next year as he progresses through his training. He will also attend Kangan Institute to complete the trade school component of his apprenticeship.
