VET Luncheon

Our Year 12 VET Cookery class hosted a wonderful luncheon on Wednesday as part of their course requirements, showcasing not only their culinary talents but also their appreciation for the incredible support our school community receives.

Members of the Executive, Teaching and Wellbeing teams were joined by special guests; Ian and Tony from Rotary Club Southern Mitchell, Tara from Mitchell Shire Council, and medical staff from the Doctors in Schools Program.
The students personally selected these organisations and guests to thank them for the ongoing support they provide to the students and staff of WSC. Both Rotary Club Southern Mitchell and Mitchell Shire Council have been instrumental in providing financial assistance for our Breakfast Club and Cooking with Legends programs. Without the support of our wider community, these valuable programs would not be possible.
Guests were treated to a delectable menu featuring a Caesar Salad entrée, Pumpkin, Spinach and Pine Nut Ravioli with a delicious Cream Sauce for main, and Chocolate Self-saucing Pudding with Ice Cream for dessert.
Our students truly outdid themselves, operating the kitchen and service like seasoned professionals. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, teamwork and dedication.
