Plants for Space X Growing Beyond Earth Immersion Day
Our Growing Beyond Earth Project 2026 Team had an amazing time participating in the Plants for Space X Growing Beyond Earth Immersion Day at La Trobe University.
Group of year 9 students explored how scientists grow plants for future space missions through a range of hands-on workshops, including plant DNA investigations, space nutrition, and designing experiments for growing food in space.
It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with real-world STEM research, work alongside university researchers, and learn about the future of space agriculture.
