Our Year 9 students participated in a powerful presentation delivered by The Pat Cronin Foundation as part of its Violence Is Never OK program.
The presentation encouraged students to reflect on the real-life consequences of violence and reinforced the importance of making positive choices, treating others with respect, and building healthy relationships. Through meaningful discussion and practical strategies, students were empowered to develop empathy, strengthen their conflict-resolution skills, and gain the confidence to stand up against violence.
At Wallan Secondary College, we are committed to providing opportunities that support the wellbeing of our students and foster a safe, respectful and inclusive school community. We thank The Pat Cronin Foundation for sharing this important message and helping our students understand that violence is never the answer.
