Australian Centre for Contemporary Art

Students visited ACCA, the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, and saw the exhibition Are you lonely tonight? I'm so lonesome I could cry.

 

Students explored the gallery exhibits which centred on how disconnected modern life is due to technology and changes in society. Artworks were shown in different mediums, such as sculpture, painting, textiles and a sound installation.

Students also had the opportunity to visit the NGV to take photos that they will use for their Personal Project CAT.

It was a pleasure to take such a great group of students out for the day, and they should all be very proud of how they represented Wallan Secondary College in the wider community.
