What an incredible achievement, Slayter!

Slayter Morrison, Year 7, recently travelled to Bangkok, Thailand, to compete in a 5-day tournament camp at B Pro Academy.

With minimal English spoken throughout the tournament, Slayter quickly discovered that everyone speaks the language of basketball!

 

Day 1 was filled with try-outs, followed by four days of tournament games. After battling through a few early losses, Slayter’s team fought their way back to win the Grand Final!

And to top it all off, Slayter was awarded MVP of the tournament! 

Long days, 32+ degree heat and plenty of challenges made for an incredible experience, but every minute was worth it.

We are incredibly proud of Slayter for taking his love of basketball to another country, embracing the challenge and continuing to develop and grow in the sport he loves.
