Students paid a gold coin donation to take part in a range of activities, including Closest to the Pin, where students put their golfing skills to the test, and the ever-popular Jellybean Guessing Competition.

The Soak the Teacher water balloon challenge was also a huge hit!

Students happily lined up, donation in hand, for their chance to bombard their teachers with water balloons. We’re sure there were a few teachers questioning their life choices by the end of it!

Students also enjoyed a delicious sausage sizzle, with the funds raised from the BBQ adding even more to our fundraising total.

A huge thank you to everyone who purchased a sausage and supported the cause!
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the shaving and colouring of hair for those brave staff members who nominated themselves for the cause. One by one, as we reached each fundraising target, our brave volunteers were placed into the barber’s chair and sacrificed their hair for charity!

And the fun isn't over yet…

Mr Jarrod Patterson will be saying goodbye to his beautiful beard and mo at the start of Term 4!

AND because we raised a whopping $1,996.00 from our fundraising efforts, Mr Ritchie will be losing his goatee AND mo next week!

A huge thank you to every staff member who stepped up and took one for the team, and to every student, staff member, family and community member who donated, and supported our VM students.
What an incredible effort — $1,996 raised for the Cancer Council and some very questionable hairstyles to show for it!
